Anusara Yoga – Tulum
Saturday, March 27, 2010 to Saturday, April 3, 2010
With Darcy Lyon
Come away from your deadlines and phone calls and join me for a week basking in quiet, white sandy beaches! Climbing out of bed, venture a few steps down to the water and wake up with a morning swim. Then its off to yoga in the jungle palapa followed by a breakfast of tropical delights. There’s plenty of time for exploring the local area or taking a noon-time siesta. After some more practice finish the day with a local dinner and moonlight stroll under the stars. This, is how we deepen!
In classical yoga, as in many spiritual traditions, desire was thought to bring suffering and was to be transcended. Certainly this is a complex landscape, filled with difficulty as well as deep joy. However, Tantra teaches us there is an intelligence present in this force. Here is the source for our creativity, sensuality and life purpose. When we actively and consciously step into the current of our heart’s desires we can use this vital life force to serve our own awakening, to deepen love and intimacy, and to savor the gifts life offers us. Our time together will be a blending of asana, meditation and other guided experiential exercises inviting us to hike, body surf and explore this fertile ground.
We will be staying at the Cabanas Copal, an eco-village along the Eastern side of Mexico. Your investment of $1200-1305 covers your double occupancy room, all yoga sessions, taxes, tips, shuttle from airport and 2 meals a day. ($100 discount if paid in full by Jan. 15th, 2010). Note that this does NOT cover airfare, alcohol or dinner, which we will be taking on our own or with friends.
- $400 non-refundable deposit holds your space (note: we sold out last year).
- Your balance is due by Feb.28th, 2010
