Onsite Manager for Satya Yoga Retreats, led by Annabelle Teleki, E-RYT 200, RYT-500
Annabelle, our brother Max and I were raised by parents from two different countries (Hungary and Argentina) and we grew up in three different countries (Mexico, Brazil and The States). So there were always 3-4 cultures in our home. I like to say that this experience made me see people and things that were different with intrigue and curiosity, and not discomfort or separateness. It was these experiences that have also kept me traveling and seeking adventure all the while with a profound respect for all cultures and languages. This upbringing led me to working with languages, art and documentary film making, and to working today in providing cultural respectful care and language access in healthcare. From the first Satya research trip on which I accompanied Annabelle back in 2010 to Mexico, I knew Annabelle’s idea for Satya was special. I also knew she had the perfect background, experience and heart to make this happen. I have loved being a part of Satya over these past 6 years (7 retreats), and supporting Annabelle in both the preparation and onsite management of her unique and transformational retreats.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, adventure found it’s way in my heart as a young girl. College brought me to California where travel expanded my awareness of the world. I traveled and lived a time in Mexico and as well a stint in Peru! I have found my way back to the hills of Northern California where my heart is most content. Serving people has been my greatest desire for as long as I can remember. The journey has spanned from therapist for folks with disabilities, therapeutic horse back riding, camping/hiking adventures, to guiding those on vacation in the Caribbean to the most spectacular sights for historical education, natural wonders, as well as unique ceremonies and rituals which tend to matters of the heart and spirit. It is such an honor and a treasure to be on the team of Satya Retreats to take each one of you to places you have dreamed of, self care you desire to shower yourself with, and a connection to a world beyond your present imagination!
